With a proven track record of over 13 years of executive experience in driving change management and leadership, Maytha Al Habsi saw the inception of Emirates Foundationin April 2005. Maytha was profiled as one of UAE’s top Inspirational leaders in 2014, and named among the ‘Top 20 Most Influential Women in the UAE’’ by The National in 2007, a board member at Emirates Entrepreneur Association and she joined the judges panel ofthe Shell LiveWIRE Top Ten Innovators awards in 2015 and is currently a judge with theGulf Capital SME Awards 2017. 

As a leading UAE National figure in the field of Philanthropy & Youth Development, Al Habsi expertise focuses on the creation and delivery of programmes that empower youth todevelop long-life skills that will enable them to take up leadership positions in thefuture.  More specifically and in her leading role as the Chief Programmes Officer at Emirates Foundation she has successfully established a solid foundation for the organization’s programmes and initiatives to deliver sustainable and measurable social impact that touched the lives of thousands of young people and their families inside the UAE and beyond. In addition, she lead the establishment of a unique platform for young social entrepreneur across the GCC, the Emirates Awards for Arabian Gulf Youth,which aims to unlock the Youths creativity to solve the challenges facing society throughthe creation of social enterprises.  Al Habsi’s success over the past 10 years, led to her promotion to Deputy Chief Executive Officer in January 2016.
